I have completed my dining room drapery. I had to go the economic route, being in school at Maryville University, so I had to be my own seamstress. It worked out fine because it did not require any pleating, it was a ripplefold with a lovely chiffon polyester fabric.

I measured the entire project and went to Design & Detail to pick-out and order the textile.

I inquired with a friend in the industry in order to get the hardware. I wanted a ceiling-mounted rod. The sleek black matches the hardware in the kitchen.

I installed and hung the drapery. It looks really nice. I was worried that it would be too sheer, but it is not. The privacy factor was important, but it still filters through the ambient daylighting from the North.
